Two people were injured in car accident after they ran into an arrow board on the West Virginia Turnpike.
The two people were heading north on the Turnpike in a Dodge Intrepid when they struck a lighted arrow board that was sitting on the side of the roadway near the 88-mile marker. The board was placed on the side of the road to alert drivers that the left lane was closed for construction crews to work and repair a bridge.
After the vehicle struck the board, it caught on fire. Both people were able to get out of the car and were transported to the hospital where they were treated and released.
